The China International Import Expo (CIIE), with the theme “New Era, Shared Future”, is the world’s first import-themed national-level expo, transforming China’s vast market into a global platform for shared opportunities. The CIIE comprises the Country Pavilion, the Corporate Pavilion, supporting activities, and cultural exchange events, and hosts the Hongqiao International Economic Forum (HQF). In May 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that China would host the CIIE starting in 2018. Since then, this grand event has been held annually in Shanghai, China, every November, and it will soon celebrate its ninth edition in 2026.

中国国际进口博览会以“新时代，共享未来”为主题，是世界上首个以进口为主题的国家级博览会，让中国大市场成为世界共享的大市场。由国家综合展、企业商业展、配套活动和人文交流活动组成，同期举办虹桥国际经济论坛。2017年 5月，中国国家主席习近平宣布，中国从2018年起举办进博会。自此，这场盛会每年11月在中国上海如期举办，即将在2026年迎来第九届。
